  • 6 ears corn on the cob
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions 

  • Fill a large pot halfway with cold water. Place it over high heat and bring to a boil.
  • Shuck the corn by removing the husks and silky strings.
  • Add the corn to the boiling water.
  • Cover and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes or until done.
  • Transfer the corn to a serving platter.
