KFC’s latest signature sauce is a big flavor boost for your favorite crispy chicken tenders! Besides, when a dipping sauce is this easy and tasty, you’ll want to serve it with everything! This KFC Sauce is full of flavor and takes just 5 minutes to make.
When it comes to fried chicken, my two favorite choices are Kentucky Fried Chicken’s crispy tenders and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. But it’s not just the chicken that makes people come back for more, it’s the sauce that takes the experience to a new level!
What is KFC Sauce?
KFC sauce is a signature dipping sauce launched by Kentucky Fried Chicken to complement its extra-crispy chicken tenders. It’s made of mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chipotle sauce, cayenne pepper, sugar, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Other popular KFC sauces include Honey Mustard, Classic Creamy Ranch, and Honey BBQ.
What Does It Taste Like? This sauce is tangy and sweet, with a hint of smokiness.
Ingredients in Homemade KFC Sauce
Here’s what you need to make this copycat sauce.
- Mayonnaise: This is the most important ingredient for the sauce, as it serves as the creamy and rich base, giving it a smooth texture.
- Ketchup: Adds a tangy and sweet flavor, as well as a vibrant red hue to the sauce.
- Worcestershire Sauce: Brings an umami flavor.
- Mustard: Choose a smooth mustard for this recipe. It adds a sharp and tangy kick to the sauce.
- Chipotle Sauce: This is where the smoky flavor comes from. It also adds a spicy, and slightly earthy note to the sauce.
- Cayenne Pepper: It contributes a distinctive and spicy flair that creates a lingering heat.
- Onion Powder: It adds a subtle savory and sweet flavor to the sauce.
- Garlic Powder: It adds a garlicky aroma with a touch of umami flavor.
- Salt & Pepper: Help to balance out the flavors.
- Sugar: Sugar provides a touch of sweetness to improve the sauce’s overall flavor.

The Biggest Secret for the Sauce is The Right Balance
The beauty of KFC sauce is the perfect balance among sweet, tangy, smokey, and savory flavors. I’ve adjusted this recipe to my preference, but feel free to adjust the quantities to achieve the perfect balance for your taste.
Let the sauce chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Ways To Use KFC Sauce

- As a side dish: serve with Pulled Pork, Roast Beef, Leg of Lamb, Steak, and BBQ Ribs.

Hi trying to make the KFC Sauce ….In Australia KFC it is called supercharged sauce.
I don’t understand what you mean by black and red pepper..
Sometimes I believe Americans call capsicums as peppers? Is that what you mean or the pepper you can grind?
