    Chicken rib meat is found where the ribs meet the breast. There are small bones, but the meat is juicy and flavorful. Most chicken breasts sold at grocery stores do not include the rib portion, but you can ask a butcher to include it.

    • salt and pepper
    • paprika
    • dried thyme
    • onion powder 
    • garlic powder 
    • olive oil

    • In a large bowl, toss together the chicken breasts, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, and olive oil until coated. 
    • Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet, taking care to ensure the breasts aren’t touching. This will help them cook thoroughly and evenly. 
    • Bake the breasts at 450°F for 10 minutes, turn them over, and cook for another 8-10 minutes until the juices run clear.
    • Remove the chicken from the oven and set it aside to rest for 5 minutes.

    • Bake the breasts for 10 minutes, turn them over, and cook for another 8-10 minutes until the juices run clear. The best way to check chicken for doneness is to use an instant-read thermometer. Insert the probe into the thickest part of the breast away from the bone. Chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
    • Remove the chicken from the oven and set it aside to rest for 5 minutes.
    • Serve each breast whole or slice into strips.
