Best Coffee Drink Salted Caramel Mocha Recipe
Ingredients
For the Drink
- 1 ½ tablespoons caramel sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 ½ tablespoons chocolate syrup or hot chocolate mix
- 1/2 cup strong coffee
- 1/2 cup milk
For the Topping
- whipped cream
- caramel Sauce
- optional sea salt
- optional brown sugar or turbinado sugar
Instructions
- Add caramel sauce, sea salt, and chocolate syrup in a glass mug.
- Make coffee and add the hot coffee to the mug. Mix well.
- Froth the milk until it is foamy, and slowly pour into the mug. If you don’t have a frother at home, you can pour the milk into a mason jar with a lid. Fill no more than a third of the jar. Place the lid on tightly and shake the jar vigorously for 30-60 seconds until the milk is frothy and double in volume.
- Very gently pour the milk into the mug.
- Top with whipped cream, and drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Sprinkle with the optional sea salt and sugar. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can add more milk if you prefer a creamier flavor.
- You can customize the sweetness of your drink. Taste and adjust the amount of caramel for the perfect subtle touch.
