Coffee lovers will be asking for seconds of this Espresso Martini. It’s a sweet cocktail that features real coffee flavors.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Coffee – strong espresso brewed in a machine with lots of froth will make the best espresso martini. Avoid using instant coffee as the cocktail won’t have true coffee flavor.
  • Kahlua – this liqueur is made with coffee and rum. It adds a wonderful sweet kick of coffee flavor to cocktails.
  • Vodka – use your favorite brand of vodka.
  • Simple syrup – adds a sweet taste to cocktails. You can make your own simple syrup or purchase it from a store.

What Liquor Is Best For An Espresso Martini?

Vodka and coffee liqueur are the perfect combination in espresso martinis. Vodka helps to balance out the sweetness of the coffee liqueur.

Can You Make An Espresso Martini Without An Espresso Machine?

Yes, if you don’t have an espresso machine you can use a stove-top, pour-over, an aeropress, or a cafetiere espresso maker. We prefer the stove-top because it requires smaller amounts of water which means stronger coffee.
