How to Make Pork Belly and Green Onions
- Marinate the pork belly with garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil for about 20 minutes.
- Place the marinated pork into a non-stick pan over medium-low heat.
- Pan fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Transfer pork belly to a plate, and add green onions on the side. Serve with steamed buns or your favorite sides.

Boiling the pork belly is a great way to remove some of the fat and it also helps to tenderize the pork. In this recipe the pork is marinated for about 20 before cooking, so there’s no need to boil it ahead of time. The pork cooks up tender and delicious.

Pork belly takes about 8-10 minutes to fry. If you boil the pork belly first, it will take less time to fry.
