  • chicken breasts
  • hoisin sauce
  • soy sauce
  • garlic
  • Ginger
  • wonton wrappers

  • honey
  • optional toppings such as sweet chili sauce, cilantro, and sesame seeds

How to Make Chicken Wonton Tacos

  • Brush the wonton wrappers with olive oil and then drape them over the sides of a baking dish. 
  • Bake the wontons at 375°F for about 7-8 minutes. Watch them closely to ensure they don’t burn. 
  • Remove the wonton wrappers from the oven and gently pull them apart while they’re still pliable. Place them back in the oven and bake for another 7-8 minutes until crisp.
  • Mix together the chicken, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic and ginger in a large bowl. Heat a large skillet over high heat and saute the chicken for 7-8 minutes, stirring often, until cooked through.
  • Place the topping ingredients in a large bowl and mix until combined. 
  • Add the chicken mixture to the wonton shells and add the toppings.

Ingredients 

For the Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced fresh ginger

For Wonton Tacos

  • 14 wonton wrappers
  • olive oil for brushing the wrappers

For the Toppings

  • 1/2 cup red onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1 bag coleslaw mix
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • optional toppings such as sweet chili sauce,cilantro, and sesame seeds

Instructions
