Ingredients You’ll Need

  • chicken hearts
  • olive oil
  • garlic powder
  • smoked paprika
  • ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper
  • parsley

How to Make Sauteed Chicken Hearts

  • Place the chicken hearts, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika and cumin in a large bowl.
  • Mix everything together ensuring that the chicken hearts are well coated with the oil and seasonings.
  • Heat a large, heavy skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat, for about 3 minutes.
  • Add the chicken hearts and cook, stirring often, for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Reduce the heat to medium if the skillet becomes too hot. Avoid overcooking as chicken hearts can become tough. Chicken hearts are done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Serve and enjoy!
