Keto Sour Cream Dip Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup onion
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- salt, to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 4 tablespoons mayo
- 1 stalk green onion, chopped
Instructions
- Add oil to a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add chopped onions and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Toss in butter and lower the heat. Add salt and sauté for 15 minutes until onions begin to caramelize.
- Add garlic and stir frequently. Cook for a few minutes.
- Transfer the caramelized onions into a bowl and place them in the freezer for 5 minutes to cool them down.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, and cooled caramelized onions together. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
