Keto Butter Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds boneless chicken thighs cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons minced ginger
- 14 ounces crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine chicken with turmeric, cumin, and garam masala in a bowl. Combine until chicken is fully coated.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Toss in the chicken and cook until browned, turning occasionally. Transfer the chicken to a dish and set aside.
- Melt the remaining butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Toss in ginger and garlic and sauté for 1 or 2 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes and heavy cream and bring the sauce to a simmer. Add the chicken back into the pot.
- Reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is reduced. Season with salt as desired.
