Best Crockpot Beef and Noodles Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 pounds sirloin tip, you can also use chuck roast or stewing beef
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 pound dried egg noodles
- salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Place the beef in the crock pot along with the broth, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning.
- Cover with the lid and set it to cook for 6-7 hours on Low or 4 hours on High until the meat is tender.
- When the beef is done, leave it in the crockpot and use two forks to shred it into bite-size pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add the noodles.
- Cover and set the crockpot to High for 10 to 20 minutes until the noodles are al dente.
- For a thicker sauce, mix together some cornstarch and cream to make a slurry. Add it to the crockpot until it begins to bubble and stir for a few minutes until the sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Serve warm and enjoy.
