With the help of buttery Crescent Rolls, you can use leftover hot dogs to whip up pigs in a blanket in no time.

Cook: 15 minutes
Total: 20 minutes
Servings: 8

Ingredients 

  • 8 pre-cooked hot dogs
  • 8 crescent rolls
  • 4 tablespoons shredded American cheese, optional

For the garlic butter – optional

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spritz a baking sheet with a little cooking spray.
  • For the optional garlic butter, melt the butter and stir in the garlic. Set aside.
  • Separate the crescent dough into triangles. Cut the cheese slices in half and then place each half onto the wide end of each dough triangle.
  • Place a hot dog onto the wide end of each crescent dough triangle and roll up towards the small end.
  • Repeat with the remaining crescent dough triangles and hot dogs, and then lay them all on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the crescent roll hot dogs with the garlic butter and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
  • Serve warm, and enjoy!
