Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Wash the bell peppers, cut them in half and remove the membrane and seeds.
Place the peppers in a baking dish, cut side up and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Saute the ground meat in a skillet for about 6-7 minutes until cooked through. Drain the grease and transfer the meat to a bowl.
Saute the onion, garlic, and riced cauliflower for about 4-5 minutes, until softened.
Add the marinara sauce, basil, sea salt and ground pepper to the same skillet over medium low heat. Cook, stirring often for about 2 minutes.
Stir in the ground meat and continue to cook until heated through.
Stir in 1/2 cup of the shredded cheese.
Spoon the meat and sauce mixture onto the peppers. Add a small spoonful of marinara sauce and a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top of each pepper half.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Seve and enjoy!
