Ingredients

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 inch fresh ginger sliced
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil. Continue to boil, uncovered, for about 5 minutes or until syrupy and reduced. Stir often so it doesn’t burn. Discard the ginger and use the sauce as a glaze or a dipping sauce. Leftovers should be placed into an airtight container and refrigerated for up to two weeks.
