How to Eat Crawfish
Crawfish are popular in Louisiana and a staple in Cajun cuisine. If you enjoy shellfish and haven’t tried crawfish, you’ll likely enjoy it!

- 2 lbs cooked crawfish
- melted butter
Remove the head of the cooked crawfish by gently twisting and pulling.
If you like, you can suck the savory juices from the head of the crawfish. Discard the head if you prefer to skip this part.
Crack the shell of the tail by pinching and pulling to reveal the tender meat inside.
Devein the crawfish by holding the tail in one hand and using the other to peel back the outer layer of skin and remove the vein.
Dip the tail in the melted butter or your favorite seafood boil sauce. Enjoy!
