How to Reduce Acidity in Tomato Sauce

- 4 cups tomatoes
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- Sugar to taste
Chop the tomatoes and remove the seeds.
Place the tomatoes into a blender.
Add the baking soda and thoroughly blend.
Transfer the sauce to a pan and simmer on low for about 60 minutes.
Regularly check the taste of the sauce and add more baking soda as needed.
