Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Whisk sugar, soy, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and ginger in a small bowl.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet and sautée garlic for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Toss in ground beef and sautée for 3 to 5 minutes, until browned. Crumble beef as it cooks and drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the soy sauce mixture and simmer for about 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
