- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 green onions thinly sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
Whisk sugar, soy, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and ginger in a small bowl.
Heat oil in a large skillet and sautée garlic for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Toss in ground beef and sautée for 3 to 5 minutes, until browned. Crumble beef as it cooks and drain excess fat.
Stir in the soy sauce mixture and simmer for about 2 minutes.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
