Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen green peas
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 large shallots sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add the olive oil, butter, and shallots to a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the shallots for about 5-7 minutes until softened and lightly browned.
  • Add the minced garlic and continue to cook for 2 minutes, stirring often.
  • Add the frozen green peas, salt, and pepper. Stir into the shallots and garlic. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the peas are heated through.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
