Hibiscus Drink Recipe
Hibiscus drink is a beautiful red herbal beverage that’s made with dried hibiscus flowers. It’s a refreshing drink that’s ideal for barbecues and picnics on hot summer days.

- 10 dried hibiscus flowers
- 5 cups water
- sugar to taste
- Ice cubes
Place the water and the dried hibiscus flowers in a large pot. Bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. The flowers will be soft and larger in size.
Add sugar to taste.
Strain the tea and discard the flowers. Note that the flowers are edible and can also be used as a garnish.
Let the drink cool to room temperature and then place in the fridge to chill.
Serve over ice in a tall glass.
