Bourbon Whiskey Sour Recipe
You’ll love the balance of sweet and sour in this classic cocktail. Serve it garnished with a slice of orange peel and a maraschino cherry!

- 2 oz bourbon whiskey
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz simple syrup
- Orange wedges for garnish
- Optional Maraschino cherry
Combine the bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold.
Strain the cocktail through a Hawthorne strainer or a slotted spoon into an old-fashioned or rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange wheel and a cherry.
