Easy Crawfish Bisque Recipe

- 1 lb crawfish tail meat
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 ½ cups heavy cream
- 5 oz creamed corn
- 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Old bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 green onions chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
For the Bisque
Add 1/2 cup butter to a large pot over medium heat.
Once melted, add onions. Sauté until soft.
Add flour and stir until the flour is completely incorporated.
Add heavy cream, corn, Cajun seasoning, Old bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, green onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Lower the heat and simmer for about 40 minutes, stirring frequently.
For the Crawfish Meat
Add oil to a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
Add crawfish meat and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the crawfish meat is cooked through.
