Cardamom Tea Recipe
Cardamom is a flavorful spice that’s used to add flavor to a variety of dishes. One of the easiest ways to enjoy cardamom is in hot tea. This tea has a pleasant spicy flavor that’s a delicious blend of cardamom, clove, and ginger.

- 6 green cardamom pods
- 2 cups water
- 4 cloves
- 1 inch fresh ginger root peeled and sliced
- 2 black tea bags or tea leaves
- sugar to taste
- Optional milk or lemon slices for serving
In a tea pot or small saucepan, add the water, cardamom, cloves and ginger slices. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
Add the black tea and remove from the heat. Stir and cover to steep to your liking.
Strain into cups and serve with sliced lemon. Sweeten with honey if desired or add a splash of milk.
