Chinese Ramen Recipe

Ingredients

Ramen

  • 6 oz ramen noodles or other types of noodles

Broth

  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 3 slices fresh ginger
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cooking wine
  • 1/4 sesame oil

Toppings & Noodles:

  • vegetables of choice
  • 1 cup cooked eggs or shredded chicken
  • chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Place the broth ingredients in a saucepan over high heat. Cover with a lid and bring to a simmer. Reduce to medium and simmer for 8 - 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  • Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to the package directions.
  • Add the vegetables to the broth and cook until tender.
  • Place the noodles into two bowls. Top with the chicken, add the broth and garnish with the green onions.
