Ingredients

  • 12 oz high-quality chocolate chips or bars Use keto chocolate for a sugar-free version
  • 1 cup raw almond nuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • optional dried cranberries or cherries

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Place the almond on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for about 6-8 minutes or until they turn lightly golden.
  • Add the chocolate to a DRY microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-seconds intervals, stirring in between. Stop when 90% of your chocolate is melted. Mix with a spatula.
  • Add the toasted almond to the melted chocolate. Mix well.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then spread the mixture onto the parchment paper evenly for about ¼-inch thick.
  • Sprinkle the salt on top.
  • Let the chocolate cool at room temperature for about 2-4 hours or until completely set. (You can place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30-60 minutes if you are in a rush).
  • Once the chocolate is completely hardened, break it into small barks using your hands. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store the homemade chocolate almond bark in an airtight container at room temperature, and they’ll last for up to 1 week.
