Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dried lavender flowers (use more lavender flowers if you'd prefer a stronger lavender taste, and use less if you want a subtle flavor.)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar (or honey)

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan or pot, add dried lavender flowers and water. Bring to a boil and stir.
  • Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add in honey and stir until dissolved.
  • Turn off the heat and let it steep for 1 hour.
  • Strain out the lavender using a fine strainer.
  • Pour the mixture into a container. Once it’s completely cool, cover with a lid and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • You can add butterfly flowers for purple coloring.
