- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown Lakanto sweetener
- 1/8 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1 tablespoon honey flavoring
- pinch of salt
Combine water and sweetener in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the sweetener is completely dissolved and the liquid is bubbling slightly.
Reduce heat and whisk xanthan gum in gradually. Be careful not to add too much or the mixture will thicken as it cools.
Add honey flavor and pinch of salt.
Cool to room temperature and transfer to a container with a tight lid.
Store in the refrigerator.
