Easy Mignonette Recipe
If you’re a fan of raw oysters, you’ll want to give this Mignonette Sauce a try. It’s a simple combination of shallots, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and sugar that pairs exceptionally well with oysters.

- 1/4 cup shallots minced
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- sugar to taste
Place the minced shallots in a small bowl.
Pour the vinegar on top and stir in the salt, pepper, and sugar to taste.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors develop.
Serve with a platter of oysters, and enjoy!
