Popeyes Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes peeled, preferably Yukon Gold
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Cut the potatoes into 3-inch pieces. Peel the garlic cloves and cut them in half.
  • Place the potatoes in a medium-sized pan and add enough water to cover. Add salt, cover with a lid, and boil for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender. Drain the potatoes.
  • Add the garlic to the pan and use a potato masher to mash the potatoes and the garlic. Add the butter and let it melt into the potatoes.
  • Add the heavy cream, milk, and olive oil to the potato mixture. Stir well to combine. Taste and add more salt if needed.
  • Whisk for about 5 minutes to thoroughly combine the mixture.
  • Serve and enjoy!
