Ingredients

For the Drink

  • 1 ½ tablespoons caramel sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoons chocolate syrup or hot chocolate mix
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup milk

For the Topping

  • whipped cream
  • caramel Sauce
  • optional sea salt
  • optional brown sugar or turbinado sugar

Instructions

  • Add caramel sauce, sea salt, and chocolate syrup in a glass mug.
  • Make coffee and add the hot coffee to the mug. Mix well.
  • Froth the milk until it is foamy, and slowly pour into the mug. If you don’t have a frother at home, you can pour the milk into a mason jar with a lid. Fill no more than a third of the jar. Place the lid on tightly and shake the jar vigorously for 30-60 seconds until the milk is frothy and double in volume.
  • Very gently pour the milk into the mug.
  • Top with whipped cream, and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  • Sprinkle with the optional sea salt and sugar. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add more milk if you prefer a creamier flavor.
  • You can customize the sweetness of your drink. Taste and adjust the amount of caramel for the perfect subtle touch.
