Ingredients

  • 6 oz boneless pork chops ½-inch thick
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic salt divided
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a rimmed baking sheet fitted with a baking rack with cooking spray. If desired, line the baking sheet with foil and set it aside.
  • In a shallow bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, ¼ teaspoon garlic salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
  • On a plate mix together the breadcrumbs, parmesan, lemon pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic salt, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Season each pork chop lightly with garlic salt and dip each into the egg wash.
  • Dredge the chops in the seasoned bread crumbs. Press the breadcrumbs firmly onto each pork chop and arrange on the baking rack.
  • Drizzle each chop with melted butter or spritz with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until fork tender. For a deeper color, brown the chops under the broiler at the end of the cooking time. Be sure to watch them carefully so they don’t burn. Rest for 5 minutes and serve.
