- 3 pounds sirloin tip you can also use chuck roast or stewing beef
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 pound dried egg noodles
- salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup heavy cream
Place the beef in the crock pot along with the broth, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning.
Cover with the lid and set it to cook for 6-7 hours on Low or 4 hours on High until the meat is tender.
When the beef is done, leave it in the crockpot and use two forks to shred it into bite-size pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add the noodles.
Cover and set the crockpot to High for 10 to 20 minutes until the noodles are al dente.
For a thicker sauce, mix together some cornstarch and cream to make a slurry. Add it to the crockpot until it begins to bubble and stir for a few minutes until the sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Serve warm and enjoy.
