  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 pound dried egg noodles
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Place the beef in the crock pot along with the broth, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning.
  • Cover with the lid and set it to cook for 6-7 hours on Low or 4 hours on High until the meat is tender.
  • When the beef is done, leave it in the crockpot and use two forks to shred it into bite-size pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add the noodles.
  • Cover and set the crockpot to High for 10 to 20 minutes until the noodles are al dente.
  • For a thicker sauce, mix together some cornstarch and cream to make a slurry. Add it to the crockpot until it begins to bubble and stir for a few minutes until the sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Serve warm and enjoy.
