    Ingredients 

    • 4 turkey legs
    • oil spray
    • 1/4 cup butter melted

    Seasoning

    • 1 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
    • 1 teaspoon paprika

    Instructions 

    • Grease a rimmed roasting pan with olive oil spray and preheat the oven to 450F.
    • Mix seasoning ingredients together in a medium bowl and set aside.
    • Pat the turkey legs dry with paper towels. Rub each leg with melted butter and seasoning. Place on the roasting rack and spray the meat with avocado oil.
    • Roast the meat uncovered until the skin is browned, about 20 minutes.
    • Loosely cover the meat with foil and continue cooking until the meat juices run clear. The internal temperature on an instant-read thermometer should read 165F when ready.
    • Remove meat from the oven and allow turkey legs to rest for 10 minutes. Ensure they remain covered in foil. This final step is crucial to the recipe.
