How to Make Cheese Mcburger

  • Add onion, vinegar, and a pinch of salt to a small bowl. Stir and set aside.
  • In another bowl, add the ground beef and  a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Mix together until combined.
  • Cut two large pieces of waxed paper to form the patties. Place the meat mixture on one piece and cover with the other piece. Use a rolling pin to roll the mixture to a thickness of ⅛-inch. Remove the top layer of waxed paper and use a large glass or a circular cookie cutter to make 8 patties.
  • Heat a frying pan until it’s smoking hot. Add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Flip to the other side and cook for a couple more minutes or until done. Top each patty with a slice of cheese.
  • Transfer the patties onto the buns. Add the pickles and your favorite toppings.

  • The onions in this recipe are slightly pickled, just like at McDonald’s!
  • Instead of American cheese, try Jack, cheddar, or mozzarella! The choice is really up to you.

What Is The Best Cheese For Cheese Burgers?

You want the cheese to melt onto the burger. American and cheddar cheese are popular options.
