Easy Canned Sweet Potato Recipe

This classic Thanksgiving side dish can be enjoyed all throughout the year. In just 40 minutes, this canned sweet potato casserole is out of the oven and on the table. It’s made with brown sugar, maple syrup and marshmallows to satisfy your autumnal sweet tooth.
Prep: 15 minutes
Cook: 25 minutes
Total: 40 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients 

  • 1 can sweet potatoes
  • ¼ cup butter, cut into pieces
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a baking dish and set aside.
  • Drain sweet potatoes. Then add them to the prepared baking dish.
  • Top the sweet potatoes with butter pieces evenly.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  • Add a layer with miniature marshmallows.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are tender and marshmallows have melted. Serve and enjoy!
