Quick and Easy Sauteed Canned Green Beans Recipe

These garlic green beans are one of the easiest canned green bean recipes. It’s quick and easy to make for a super flavorful side dish.
Prep: 2 minutes

Total: 7 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients 

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cans canned green beans, (about 1 lb)
  • 3 garlic cloves, (sliced into thin pieces)
  • salt to taste

Instructions 

  • Drain and rinse the canned green beans thoroughly.
  • Add oil to a large pan over high heat. Once hot, add garlic. Saute for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add canned green beans and cook for about 5 minutes or until the green beans are cooked to your desired tenderness.

    These green beans are delicious. I use a little bacon grease or coconut oil in mine. I add chopped onions also. I love onions in just about everything.

  2. My Bohemian heritage has a great green bean dish that my whole family loves. Sometimes I fix it for lunch for myself. Put the green beans into a fry pan on medium to warm the beans through. Depending on how many beans you use put a couple of eggs over the beans and stir until beans are coated with the eggs. Stay with the fry pan as the eggs may stick to the bottom and turn brown. Enjoy with salt and pepper. Some times I put onion powder over the beans while warming. Delores Daniels
