Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup water
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Place a large skillet on the stove and heat over medium-high heat.
- Add water, salt, and green beans. Bring to a boil and continue cooking for about 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the oil and butter in the same pan. Once the butter is completely melted, sauté the green beans.
- Move the green beans around to coat them evenly in the oil/butter mixture for about 1 minute. Add in the remaining spices and saute for another 30 seconds.
- Remove from heat, squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the green beans, mix and serve!
